Welcome, welcome to episode number one of the real empire podcast, your host, Raphael Vargas and man, oh man, look at this. You guys are now watching the video. You got to check out this video doing a quick tour, but you’re actually in Medellin Columbia doing a, actually just staying here visiting one of my clients actually he runs a seven figure, a wholesaling company in Medellin, Columbia. But let me get back to what episode one is about. I just want to tell you guys what Real Empire is and what the purpose of this podcast is. Right, so a quick background on me, you know my name is Raphael Vargas, so I run a national real estate investment company. I’m 27 years old. I started the age of 21 and I’ve grown a $5 million plus real estate wholesaling company that produces me $5 million a year in assignment fees and if you don’t know what wholesaling is, don’t worry.

I’m going to go into the details of that. By the way, this view is incredible, but I’m going to go into the details of what wholesaling is. Wholesaling really quickly is getting a contract from a motivated seller, homeowner and then getting that contract and flipping it. So this entire podcast is based around the concept of real estate wholesaling and how to achieve financial freedom from real estate wholesaling. I’m sorry if you see a little bit of spit coming out of this video. So it is 100% raw first, first podcasts of recording. And again, guys, I’m super excited because I’ve been in this business six and a half years, six and a half years. And I’ve seen, I feel like I’ve seen it all flipped thousands of properties at this point. You know, from DC to Charlotte, Tampa, Philadelphia, Orlando, North Carolina. I mean I’ve seen a lot, a lot of single family wholesaling deals.

And the best part about wholesaling is this isn’t, uh, you know, the end game, right? Wholesaling is not the end game. Wholesaling is a means to an end, right? It’s the first step. It’s the first step to take you to financial freedom. Right? So it took me to build a $5 million real estate wholesaling company, which then I now can invest in rental properties, right? So I owned single family properties, rental properties throughout Baltimore and Tampa, Florida. I own commercial real estate properties in California as well. Uh, office buildings over 30,000 square feet. So, you know, wholesaling is the first step to getting to your financial freedom. And you know, it’s pretty cool that we’re making this video here in Pablo Escobar’s old mansion. I mean, let me just show you really quickly, if you guys are not watching this podcast, got to see this video. It’s absolutely incredible.

And Pablo Escobar’s and knew how to do it right. And I’m not supporting a condoning him in any, any regards, but the home that he built is incredible. It’s just incredible. And we are in the mountains of managing with some incredible views. So wanting to do this video here and do this podcast here because it’s super inspiring to see where I came from at the age of 21 years old in my mother’s basement broke as a frickin’ joke. I mean completely broke. And seeing the power of real estate wholesaling, flipping a contract with no cash, no credit, and a knucklehead like me, if I can do it, you guys can do it. If it took me six years now to build a $5 million company that, you know, obviously now I can take amazing vacations like where I’m at right now in Medellin, Columbia. I’ve retired my mother, I drive my dream car, right?

Lamborghini Aventador. I have a Lamborghini Aventador and a BMW I eight that I paid full cashflow, right? Because my company produces millions of dollars a year. So I can buy these things in these luxuries, you know, full cash amount, amazing, amazing vacations with my family. I and also myself. Um, so traveling the world, it’s just absolutely incredible and it gives you the freedom, right? Real estate wholesaling provides you the freedom. So as I’m here in Medellin, Columbia, you know, our company and our team back at the office in Tampa, Florida, we locked up over six figures in deals just this week, you know, six figures in deals just as week in eight different metropolitan markets. And so a lot of people think that real estate wholesaling, you know, you, you can’t do it virtually. And the reality is that’s a hundred percent false. I’m here with one of my clients that has built a seven-figure wholesaling company straight from Medellin, Columbia, right?

So he flips houses in Miami and Tampa, Florida, straight from Medellin, Columbia. So 100%, it is 100% virtual. Um, it’s 100% scalable. You 100% can get you to the place that you want to be. And it’s the first step guys, it’s the first frickin’ step to getting to financial freedom, right? So wholesaling is great, right? So you get a contract with the homeowner. We find motivated sellers through means of direct mail, RVMs, you know, PPC online advertisement, doing a lot of cold calls and we find homeowners that are in distressed that need to sell the property quickly. And so they know that they’re taking a discount on their asset. So once we make them an offer to buy their property, um, you know, we make them an offer slightly below market value. So let’s say at a $100,000 and then what we do is before actually buying the asset, we find an end investor, right?

An investor that’s going to pay the asset for us, they’re going to buy it for $120,000 they’re going to put the renovations, deal with the contractors, all that headache. All we do is get the contract with the homeowner, and then we resell it to the investor for 120,000 that way we make a $20,000 spread. We don’t close on the property, the investors, the one that closes on the property, we walk away from the closing table with $20,000 and then what? I did this the first time in my mother’s basement, it took me nine months. I mean, this is not the easiest thing to do, but I promise you, once you get the hang of it, it is so scalable. It’s an incredible, incredible means to create massive amounts of quick cash right now for yourself that you can take and then invest in buildings, invest in property, right?

So now I have companies that this year I’m in glory be to God. At the age of 27, my companies are going to be doing over $10 million this year. $10 million. I couldn’t believe in fathom this when I was stuck in my mother’s basement broke as a joke, struggling, you know, watching her struggle work two jobs, you know, trying to take care of me and my mentally disabled brother and my father wasn’t around so I had no one to guide me in this. And I used to study just on YouTube free information on YouTube on how to scale and build a multi uh, uh, wholesaling, uh, you know, real estate wholesaling business and glory be to God. After nine months I got my first deal, that deal, I then invested back into my marketing, got another deal, scaled it, did another deal. Scale that again in episode two, I’m going to go through the details, right, the details of my journey, the step by step journey of going from our mother’s basement to now running a multimillion dollar real estate wholesaling culminate.

It is an absolute incredible journey. I’ve made so many mistakes along the process, but I would not change it for the world. I wouldn’t change a single mistake for the fricking world because through those mistakes, through your failures is where you see success through your failures to see success. I mean, there’s no successful person out there that has not failed a thousand times. I mean, Thomas Edison said this best, I do not fail a thousand times. I just found a thousand ways that don’t work. Keep trying, keep pushing, and you will find the way that works. And after nine months, I found the way that works. I got my first deal and that was through cold calling and cold calling was the best way. And so guys, this podcast is just talking about, you know, how to scale an empire, right? How to take a wholesaling business from your mother’s basement or maybe just from your home, wherever you’re starting out, right?

How to take it from that point to then a national business, which is where our company is now, right? We’re a national business. We’re an eight different metropolitan markets and our goal is to skill into 40 different metropolitan markets, or we’re doing over $50 million in revenue just from wholesaling assignment fee. So guys, this podcast is going to blow your mind. I promise you there are very, very few, if not anybody that is skilled in national real estate wholesaling level, a wholesale company to the capacity that we have. And it’s through a lot of proof. I mean, if you look through my websites, go to real empire.com look at my website, look at my profit and loss statements. I mean this is real. We run a company that produces almost more than a million dollars every three months, right? And our profitability runs between, you know, 27 to 37%.

Right? It all depends on our labor cost side, quarter for hiring more people or a marketing cost. Sometimes that goes up and then obviously some quarters work, no historically better than others when it comes to real estate wholesaling. But, um, regardless of the company is extremely profitable. It’s extremely scalable and the best part is the freedom, right? So I have people taking phone calls. I’m not taking phone calls with homeowners anymore. I have people that sell the deals. Once our acquisition team gets the deal under contract, we have salespeople that sell the deal, disposition the deal to the investors, right? I have a marketing team that puts together the marketing for us and get the marketing out there. So the calls come to our acquisition floor. So it’s so scalable. It is just an incredible business. If you’re starting from nothing, this is the best business to get into in the beginning.

Get your feet wet in real estate, get into real estate wholesaling and I promise you, you can scale a national real estate company, but and you can scale up very quickly. I have clients that have scaled, there’s seven figure wholesaling company within me meeting them within a year and a half, two years. They’re doing millions of dollars in revenue wholesaling. My mother worked so hard when you retire your mother, I want you to live in incredible take vacations and go and mansions like these, I mean massive mansions and enjoy Medellin, Columbia and wherever you want to travel with your family or whatever you want to do. I want you to do that. I was just in Cancun last week, the entire week with my family while team again was crushing it, getting over six figures in deals right in that week. So I want you guys to be living and experiencing this life. And then I want you guys to be taking the cash, the massive amounts of cash that you’re going to be making from real estate wholesaling and investing that into assets, investing that in single family assets, multifamily assets, commercial buildings, self-storage development like we’re doing.

So this is the step one. Wholesaling is a step one and you can grow this nationally scale it, it’s so amazing. It’s virtual. You can do this anywhere in the nation. You can do this from anywhere. Again, you know, we’re managing Columbia. My clients do deals in Tampa from Medellin, Columbia taking, you know, uh, it’s a sales company.
